Any victim of a crime and their non-offending family members. We provide this for families, individuals, as well couples counseling
How much do services cost?
Ther is no charge for services. We do request that all cancellations take place 24 hours prior to session or class.
How do I sign up for services?
If you are interested in our counseling services, call or text 1(855)239-ATFS, or make a referral online by clicking the red button "Make a Referral" located at the bottom of this page. Staff will follow up on your referral as soon as possible.
Where do you provide services?
Our service area includes: Montague, Jack, Clay, and Young counties.
What is counseling?
Affirming Texas Families is a mental health resource where clients can receive assistance with victims' specific counseling, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and a variety of other challenges. We are staffed by licensed professional counselors who provide developmentally-based counseling, assessment, and techniques for overall wellness.
What if I am in crisis? Do you provide crisis services?
We do not provide crisis counseling.
If your concerns are urgent, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255. If your concerns are not immediate, you can call or text us 1(855) 239-ATFS (2837) and we can refer you to an agency in your area.
Do you provide online counseling?
We can provide counseling via Zoom as needed to best serve our clients.
